When to get MP payments deposited?

What is the advantage of getting MP payments bi-weekly or weekly? I thought you want to see if the payments have been deposited.

When to get MP payments deposited?

I'm on weekly for all my accounts and unless you are desperate for cash that is what I would recommend for almost any modest volume seller.

As @ypdc_dennis  mentions doing it weekly means eBay will rarely if ever have to dip into your bank account to cover a refund, payment hold or one-off fee.

More important to me is the 80% reduction in transactions in my bank account from having one deposit per week as opposed to five.

The choices are daily or weekly (weekly seems to be every Tuesday). https://www.ebay.ca/sh/fin/settings

My preference is weekly.

Refunds come from any pending balance first. Weekly is more likely to have funds available. If no money is available it comes from your bank account or credit card (I selected credit card for my back up).

If you decide to use eBay Labels you can have the money come from pending funds. eBay Labels have an extra discount until September (equivalent to Canada Post SB level 3 discount).  Easier to do when payouts are weekly if your sales are unsteady.

I regard weekly as less work to keep track of. Plus the bigger weekly amount feels better than tiny daily crumbs. To view payout details: https://www.ebay.ca/sh/fin/transactions

Also check if your bank has any transaction limits.

Ultimately it is your personal preference as to what works best for you.

When to get MP payments deposited?

Thank you, I have money in my account, it's just my pension that goes in there, getting a separate one didn't work too well. I also have money in my Paypal account. Will eBay use that?
