Will changing shipping to 7 days (for 7 days) hurt my Sales & Listings?

Our store currently guarantees 24 hour shipping, my schedule is messed up this coming week and I may or may not be able to ship within 24 hours depending on how the week goes.

I may still be able to ship some items within 24 hours but it cannot be guaranteed. In 7 days I should be able to to return to a guaranteed 24 hour shipping time.

Will changing shipping to 7 days (for 7 days) hurt my Sales & Listings?

Would Vacation Mode work? (I don't know how that works.) Does it effect the alogrithm?

Better to tell the customer seven days and ship in five, than to tell them 24 hours and ship in 48 hours.

Whether it hurts your sales is impossible to know since retail sales vary from day to day and week to week.

Best is to put your Store On Vacation and make the listings invisible so that no one can order without noticing the posted delay and complain later.
