I get why we pay seller fess on item price and shipping charged but
shouldn't the sales tax, something between ebay and the state the buyer
comes from be paid by eBay? It's independant to the sellers transaction.
a minimalist example:
eBay has again changed their Terms of Service and they auto-enrolled
everyone into the AI Development and Training. To Opt-Out turn off the
toggle in:My eBay > Account > AI Training Preferences
How are we handling antique or old items from China? Are they handled
the same? i.e. A 150 year old piece of Chinese porcelain? I mean, it's
ridiculous to apply tarrif's on this is it not? (Not that ridiculous
isn't the l'orange stupide's middle name...
We experienced a once in 20 year mix-up when sending a package to a
buyer over the holidays. They were helped us make sure everything was
sorted out (a package was sent to them that should have gone to another
buyer, and they posted it along for us)....
I used a business number. (And may or may not have, at some point,
provided my license as ID.) eBay is NOT an employer and does not legally
have a right to your SIN.

This lull is unusual for me, but it's not unprecedented. Would love my
Canadian customers back, they have dwindled since the eBay switch to USD
on com and CA on ca. Oddly my funds...
