Why are some items in feedback marked "Private:?  It makes it look like I am buying naughty brown paper-wrapped things.  I don't mind if anyone sees my purchases.

Actually, no one sees what you have purchased, you are the only one who can see it.

The "private" feature was to protect that thing before that eBay has changed their privacy policy.

IMHO, this doesn't change anything now.
