Can I switch my item from "fixed price" to "auction" format? How do I go about doing this?

Is there anyway once I have an item listed (or the listing has ended) to switch the listing from a fixed price format to an auction style format? What are the steps I would need to take?

Hello 'delphius',

According to ebay, "What you can revise in a listing depends on the listing type,

the time left before it ends, and whether you have received any bids or sales."

The following link will tell you all about what you can and cannot do, and alas it would

appear that your wish is not possible, not without redoing it.  Under Fixed Price Listings,

it says, "You can't change a fixed price listing to an auction style listing".

Have a look, there are related links on the right side if you have time:

You can end the Fixed Price listing then using Sell Similar list it as an auction.

You will not be refunded the fee for the closed FP listing.

You can also Revise the FP to change the price, if you have suddenly realized it is too low. (or too high)
