Cancelling a Bid?????

I just made a bid on an item - I am currently the winning bid.  I have since found another item that suits my needs better.  Is there a way to cancel my bid on the first item?

When you type in your question there is a list that shows up on the right hand side

which shows answers to similar questions.

Ask the seller to cancel your bid.

If he will not (most will, but will also add you to their Blocked Bidders List as a flibbertigibbet), you can cancel your own bid in limited cases . Look on the Site Map lower left column.
