problem with Recent Feedback ratings

 

Hi;

 

It's the same topic than yesterday, but my problem is not resolved completely.

 

On my seller dashboard, 1 neutral and 1 negative feedback were removed from the total of transactions having defect. (older than 1 year)

 

When I look at my recent feedback rating, nothing have change.

 

If you put the mouse under my feedback profile where you can see: how is feedback percentage calculated (in blue) you will see a different number that what is displayed in the recent feedback rating. (for the negative feedback)

 

I don't understand why

Same answer as yesterday.

 

You currently have 4 negative feedbacks posted in the last twelve months.

 

As 365 days roll by, the feedback posted 366 days ago will go away.

 

What you see on your dashboard is based on transaction dates, a different set of calculations.

It's this part that is not clear: (when you put the mouse on the blue link)

 

 

 

 

The positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the total number of positive and negative Feedback ratings for transactions that ended in the last 12 months, excluding repeat Feedback from the same member for purchases done within the same calendar week (eBay time).

Note: This could mean that the number of ratings used for this calculation is different from the same number shown in the recent ratings table on the left.

Positives
Positives + negatives

This member's 12 month Feedback ratings
Positives: 169Negatives: 3

This member's positive Feedback percentage

169
169 + 3
= 98.3%

 

 

 

You can see 3 negatives but the recent rating still show 4 (even if one was removed 2 weeks ago)

As indicated earlier, the information comes from different data bases.

 

The feedback shown on the feedback page is based on the date the feedback is posted.

 

The timing on your dashboard is based on the date of the transaction.

 

It is not unusual for buyers to post their negative feedback several weeks after the transaction date.

 

On the long run it is largely irrelevant.  They all wash out after twelve months.
