reply to a customer with an offer

Hi

I can't find how to reply to a buyer message with a direct offer.

I don't seem to have this feature on my panel. Is it only for store owner ?

I have read this topic: "sending a private offer"

but I can't find anywhere the "send an offer directly to the member" supposedly at the bottom of the message.

Did the offer come through your eBay Messages?

There should be a Reply button on the Message. There is also a Reply button on the email you get from eBay which will take you to the eBay Message.

Hmm-- to be clear, you can Reply, but the sale must remain on eBay.

Usually, I will set up a new listing with the agreed price and shipping, using the original photo and description. Then I use the member's eBay ID as the title.

I can reply to my message of course. But, like you explain, instead of creating a new listing with corrected price I'm trying to find where is the function "send an offer directly to the member".

Few time ago, I received from a seller an offer, with 48 hours to make my finale decision (exactly what is described on the help page of ebay.com (curiously it's not available on ebay.ca) when you type "sending a private offer"
