Technically speaking, the tax is being charged on the shipping charge, not "postage" which is a slightly different animal (particularly in instances when the item isn't going by mail).
Marnotom! In this case the item is being sent "letter post" hence the term "postage". Shipping is a nebulous term as it includes postage but also handling packaging materials etc., but to be correct eBay used "shipping" on the invoice.🙉🙊🙈
