Seller says goods posted but no envelope next to purchased item on eBay

"no envelope"

 The "envelope" appears automatically when sellers buy their postage through PayPal. 

Not all sellers buy their postage through PayPal.  I do not.

Give it a week and then contact the seller by email, using the email address where the PayPal payment was sent, and ask when and how your item was mailed.
