To get to a customer service rep you have to choose the 'automated helper' and then within the text it spits out is an option to have a Rep call you.

The older Ebay phone numbers that people may have kept for reference no longer work.

And the ones people find online via a Google search usually connect you to a scammer who will attempt (often successfully) to scoop your user name and password.

holy **bleep**........i almost called one of those numbers earlier today.  Lucky for me i persisted and found the super secret way of contacting Ebay by phone.
