Paypal notifications late again??

Started last night, payments were about 30 minutes late, now this morning, i am seeing over an hour behind and still counting.  Is this because of the way they did the tax thing, and it is slowere getting out of Paypal. It was coming within seconds, of payment. Not now???

PayPal notification was at least half an hour delayed for us last night as well.

Another thing I noticed is that PayPal added the tax into the ' purchase total' and then  charged the commission on the tax  (collected by eBay for the state of Nebraska) and added it into my total fee.

Commission is 3.7 % plus 30 cents.

This is the transaction.

Purchase                                                $19.99

Shipping                                                 $9.50

Tax  (Nebraska)                                    $2.06

Purchase total                                    $31.55

Fee                                        -negative $1.47

Tax collected by eBay   -negative $2.06

Total                                                        $28.02

I guess this means a call to PayPal to find out what is going on.

Anyone else notice that happening on their invoices?

Today all of mine are delayed so far a couple hours or so, they do eventually show up....

My Paypal account page has not shown any changes since Nov.2, although I have both recieved and spent money and transferred US funds to my US bank.

The bank transfer just showed up, so there's that.

The Payments Sent page does show action.

Payments Received does not.

I am getting the emails from PP when a payment is made.

Normally I use PP to track sales and payments, printing out the confirmation from the Received page.

Mine are also late for the last 24 hours, up to 2 hours.

sold 2 items, at 4 o'clock today, and 5 hours later still no payment notifications.

Sold an item at about 6:00 pm, still no PayPal email and its nearly 11:00pm. Payment does show in PayPal though.

My problem is the opposite.

I'm getting emails, but nothing about received payments on my PP account page.

Bank transfers are posting to the account. I don't think the subscriptions I charge to PP are showing up though.

My notifications are approaching 12 hours , of tardiness.. I called paypal, and the service tried to tell me that internet usage is up, and email traffic gets slowed down.. I called B.S.,   i tried to explain to him, that when the email finally shows up it shows the transaction time, and it is coming almost 10-12 hours later than it should, .. When i finally do receive an email, it is time stamped when i get it, if it was just delayed it would show up with the original time on it lower in my email box.. But i receive them with the time being 10-12 hours later, the service person has no clue to what i was explaining to them..

As of a couple minutes ago notifications are "immediate" again, lets hope it stays that way!!!
