Why not list your items in CAD $ ?

I live in Canada. Every time when I buy something in US$ and pay by Paypal, Paypal give me a very poor Exchange Rate, plus a handling fee. This jeck up the buy cost a lot. Now I avoid buying things in ebay which list in other currencies other than CAD $. Many Canadian are doing the same these days.

Sellers: if you want more business from Canadian, please also list your items in CAD $.

I've been reading about the currency debate for some time now. I have seen many fabricated, if not idiotic and moronic, why not to list in Canadian funds. The only answer is GREED. Sellers on these boards also complain that their sales are poor. Again GREED.

Flashback to the late 1990's and early 2000's. Buyers were able to buy something at a "deal" price. Auction fever often drove price up. But you could still get a deal. Many listings gas starting prices of $0.01 to $0.99, and not for junk. I often had to sell something well below its "value" due to only having one bidder. But the bidding wars made up for that. And 80-90% of my stuff would sell!

Flashforward to today. Everyone (most) list there items way too high. So they don't sell. And they don't sell. Then they blame eBay for budding into their business, for improving the site, for making it more secure for buyers ( because at one point in time, it wasn't )

So give me a break about USD being eBays currency, that most worldwide business is conducted in USD, that Americans don't like it...

Ahhhhh, now I feel better. But it won't last, as the child-like complaining is sure to thrive and continue.
