Can't change the category for my listings?

I am selling silver bullion .999 coins on Ebay.com. Many listings aren't under paper money and coin category. Right now, I am trying to change them to bullion under paper money and coin. But this happened.

Anyone know why? Thanks.

Have you tried closing the listings, then using Sell Similar to relist, changing the category at that point to Bullion?

Do you have some open offers out?  You can't change a listing if there is an offer pending.

Edit... I couldn't see your screen shot at first. I've never seen that message before, that is bizarre especially as I've seen a lot of bullion listings been sold worldwide.

Can you provide two of the items numbers of the items you are trying to change catagory?

That might allow us to understand your issue...

I tried sell similar.  It won't work. I have 300s listings. I tried bulk edit as well. no luck.

Called Ebay CS. They are clueless and  useless as usual..

I don't sell in that category, but a few quick Google searches suggest there's issues with shipping bullion across international borders. Since you're registered in Canada, based on the message, you may not be able to list them in the bullion category unless you list them on .ca (that's a pure guess though).

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that mean giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.
https://www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness/ — Message button in upper right on landing page.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

Even so, make sure the rep on the Chat understands that you are in Canada, even if you are listing on the dotCOM site, and there is a border between you and your American customers.
The Philippino reps at least understand the concept of "a sovereign nation is not under US law" perhaps because they have a cousin in Winnipeg.
