No shipping to PO box

I think the sellers that don`t ship to PO boxes should state so on on the add page or add the option on the left panel.its a pain to have to look thru every add to find one that ships to PO boxes.not all of us live where door delivery is possible.just a thought thanks

There is a workaround.

These sellers are either using UPS/FedEx/random couriers, or are blindly following those who are.

Couriers cannot deliver to PO boxes, because the clerks will not sign for the shipments.

Fair enough, but if you are buying from the US (and most of those courier-users are in the US) a courier will charge you duty, sales taxes, and a service fee of $25 or more to hand over your parcel.

Our duty free allowance is only $20 (~$15US).

The ones who won't deliver because they saw it somewhere and copied blindly, well, they are sloppy thinkers but there is a workaround.

In eBay and in Paypal change your address somewhat.

Instead of:

Mr. Jordon

123 Any Street, PO Box 456

Anytown SK  K1A 5A6 CANADA

Use:

Mr. Jordon

123 Any Street, UNIT 456

Anytown SK  K1A 5A6 CANADA

Now you look like you have an apartment address. The PO won't mind. The letter carrier will understand.

I get bored sometimes and google my customers' addresses.

You'd be amazed how many "apartment" addresses are post offices in strip malls.
