How do i delete any items on my summary page that i have been outbid on?Do i have to wait until the bidding is over?

Yes, you have to wait.

If another bidder cancels his bid, you may become the high bidder still.

To cancel a bid, contact the seller and ask her to do it. Or within strict limits you can cancel your own bid.
