eBay Seller Refuses To Ship Or Cancel Item

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S21, after about a week, the seller refused to ship it. I cancelled it and I ordered another from someone else. The seller cancelled the cancellation and hasn;t shipped the item. I can't afford two. Ebay is a nightmare to contact. They're becoming like Facebook/Scamazon. They want to scheduale a call, but I can't speak and I don't live in a place with adequate phone service, I want live chat, appearently, they don't offer it anymore. I don't trust the original seller. WHy wouldn't they ship it and why did they cancel the cancellation request. It feels like a scam or something.

Did you pay?

Buyers cannot cancel transactions.

Only sellers*. And they are penalized for doing so.

If you did not pay, after four days the seller can cancel as Unpaid Item. The transaction ends. You get a Strike.

If you did pay.

Do NOT refuse the shipment.
Return it with tracking to the seller.

Refusing the shipment is regarded as being Undeliverable and sellers are not required to refund anything on Undeliverable shipments.

*And it is very stupid to refuse to cancel a sale when the buyer has said they don't want the item.

They do still have live chat, but you get to chat with idiot robots only, that are easily confused by any issue you want to talk about.

The live call is no different ... you still get a robot that you have to say certain words to or it also gets confused, and it's still just as useless.

Just hope that you never have an issue requiring help from eBay ..
