How could a Seller would have gotten my personal e-mail address? .

I just received an email from a Seller directing me to their sales website.  How could they ever have gotten my personal e-mail address??  I'm very concerned about using eBay now - worried about what else of my personal info isn't safe there?

Many ways.

Your email is given to the seller via the Paypal payment notification and when you make the purchase on ebay, your email address is on the ebay sales record.

As a seller, you should already be aware of this.

If you are that concerned, I would suggest you open a free email address and rent a PO box to use as your shipping address, as both you as a buyer and all the people buying from you are given both your email and mailing address.
