Basically, what the title says. I have sent multiple messages asking for updates, but I get zero responses. I'm not sure if he's ignoring me or just not getting my messages, but I have yet to receive my item. What should I do?
I called the mail delivery centre a week ago, and they said that they could not alter the address despite me being the receiver. The only update from the postal tracking website I have is "Addressee's address being verified."
First class mail from California is likely to be 2-3 weeks and seller is not going to reship until returned in perhaps another month.
Its to soon to say how it will play out. How is your mail received . Can you speak to the mail delivery person. Perhaps name and street address will be sufficient. I would wait at least 30 days.
My address that I provided in my eBay/Paypal account was wrong, as I forgot to enter my Apartment # to my address. I corrected this as quickly as possible. I used Paypal to directly pay for the item, so I did not use a credit card. It has been roughly 2 weeks since I bought the item. The seller seemed reliable enough as they had a 100% seller rating.
You say 'incorrect address', - whose? A seller is required to send an item to your registered paypal address. Did you have the wrong address? An undeliverable item would be returned to the seller, I should think. Well, no matter, the seller ought to respond to you and I suspect you are being ignored, - delayed even.
So you could do what everybody does who does not receive an item, -- file an Item Not Received claim. You only have 45 days in which to do this, - how long has it been since you bought? This link will tell you about it:

If it has been more than 45 days it is too late to file a claim. So in theory, if you involved a credit card in the transaction you could attempt a chargeback by calling the 1-800 number on the back of the card. However, if you explain to them that you never bothered to update your address when you moved they just might hang up in your ear. 🙂
You have 60 days in which to leave feedback, but if the fault of all this is in any way yours, it would be wholly unreasonable to leave any kind of disagreeable feedback.
I've a feeling there's a few details you've left out. 😉
