I just received an item from China. This is a new record for me: the item was purchased Mars 21th, I received it June 29th. The package shows the seller posted the item right after the purchase. The item took perhaps 2-3 weeks to arrive at the canadian customs, where it sat for the remaining of 10 weeks. The item was a simple cell phone case. I've also received another item from Aliexpress: that one took only 11 weeks to arrive. These are the new standards for the canadian customs: 3 months delivery for items from China. By all means, do not blame the chinese sellers! It is definitely not their fault. Don't leave negative feedback or ask for a refund: if we do so, they may stop shipping to Canada.
if you have no problem waiting forever to receive your items, feel free to order from overseas. china specifically.. if you were odereing a simple phone case you could have ordered the same item from a canada seller, and received it in 5 days. maybe cost 1$ more..
i am sorry i have lost all feeling for people who order low cost stuff from asia, then complain they haven't received it, or it came late, or they offered to resend the item,
Perhaps ebay should put a red flag up when people from Canada try to buy from China, that shipping may exceed the expected delivery dates due to blah , blah, blah,, then buyers could re think it before hitting the buy it now..
and no i don't blame all china sellers. but there is a serious problem going on, that needs to be addressed..and it isn't all about fentynal.....
This is the norm now for items from China, due to CBSA and Canada Post cracking down on small packages from China. The main issues are fentanyl and UPU. Many posts exist on these boards providing a lot more information on these topics, and they are easily searchable.
You are right: the issue is not always with the Chinese sellers. While there are problematic sellers, many are honest and ship in a reasonable time. The problem lies with how slowly packages from China are being processed.
I'd like to see your tracking on this.
I agree.
The problem is China and not the Chinese sellers.
If the seller left you feedback, you can Respond to it indefinitely.
Feedback is voluntary and does not make a difference to his selling account.
