Disappearing Offer from eBay

This is a strange one. Last week I received a special offer from ebay allowing me to post up to 500 auction type sales for free.  The odd thing is that I did not receive an email notification of the offer.  It was just sitting at the bottom of my "selling" page along with my regular monthly offer currently in use.  I specifically noted that it expired at midnight on Sunday July 16.   I do not generally do auctions and also never pay insertion fees.  I rather reluctantly decided to accept on Saturday night and set up my auctions to start on Sunday evening before expiry.  When I posted the 9 auctions, there were no listing fees indicated by ebay.

One of the items sold and, as usual, I checked to confirm the ebay fees for the sale.  Lo and behold, I saw 9 insertion fees which were completely unexpected.  The offer I accepted is also not showing up in my offer summary.  I contacted ebay and was informed that there was no way I would have received an offer with out an email.  But I DID have one and I also confirmed that the ebay listing fees were zero when I submitted the auction items.

What the heck is going on?

In my case the auction promo I got ended Saturday, July 15.

You may or may not get an email with promo info (it depends a bit on what your account settings are, and if there are any email posting problems).
