Shipping fees refund from Global Shipping Services when order is canceled ?

Hello,

I bought 2 months ago, some tiles on ebay and it was supposed to be shipped to Canada through Global Shipping Program. Unfortunately, due to weight limitation, the order couldn't be sent and the transaction was canceled. I received a partial refund for the items bought, mainly, it was the cost of the items refunded by the seller.

As for the shipping charges (around 300$CAN), I was told to get EBAY to refund me.

But nobody seems able to help me.

I posted on the board and was told to contact either Bennett4612 or Kalvin to get some help.

How do you get a refund for shipping costs for a canceled order shipped through GSP ?

Thanks!

Hi eurekarma,

Customer Support should be able to help point you in the right direction. They'll connect you with the Global Shipping team so this can be looked into.

Thanks,

ZOMBIE THREAD FROM 2013

The problem with zombie threads is that the information may be out of date or incorrect.

@hydrogrowdirect

What was the solution? Canada Post and the GSP has missed 2 guranteed delivery dates for me now and did not include the signature required option as originally shipped through USPS.

Your question doesn't actually match the original question.

At this point you have an Item Not Delivered which would be covered (in full) by the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page.

When you say missed 2 guaranteed delivery dates do you mean the first and last estimated delivery dates you were given by eBay?

  • eBay doesn't have a firm grip on holidays and PO statutory holidays. Just sayin'.

If you mean that last estimated date for delivery has passed, go to the bottom of this page and open an Item Not Received dispute in the Resolution Centre.

In the dispute, state that this is a Global Shipping Program transaction and ask that it be passed to a specialist.

The usual action by the GSP is to refund you in full and let you keep the item if/ when it arrives. Which is usually does.

Your seller completed her job when the USPS delivered (and got Signature Confirmation of delivery) to the GSP plant in Kentucky. That part of the job is over. You may want to let the seller know what is happening as a courtesy.

The GSP is a Seller Protection program. This is part of her protections.

and did not include the signature required option as originally shipped through USPS.

How do you know that if the item is not delivered?

You can also enquire at the local Post Office (not the outlet in back of the drug store) about the parcel. You will need the new GSP/Canada Post tracking number.

Look here for that: https://parceltracking.pb.com/app/#/dashboard/

The tracking number looks like UPAAB000000#########
