Which shipping option do you recommend for shipping trading cards?

Hi there,

I'm wondering what most eBay card sellers use as their cheapest shipping option.

Trading cards would be shipped in small envelopes or bubble mailers, but I am aware that Canada Post does not offer standard letter mail postage on eBay/Paypal. You would need to go out and buy stamps. This way is definitely cheaper, but is it better than buying a parcel service from eBay?

Thanks.

hi, i have been selling cards for awhile now and have always shipped in a small bubble envelope with no problems .to ship in canada it costs a $1.29 and to the u.s.a. it costs $2.10,hope this helps you and good luck..

I don't sell trading cards, but -- not bubble mailers.

If what you send can be bent, you need a package that can't.

When I ship postcards, I use a piece of coroplast (used for disposable outdoor signs) and a postcard sleeve.

If you use LetterPost, add a tiny handling charge to each of your shipments to cover "self-insurance". If one card in 100 goes astray, and that would be high, then a dime on each shipping and handling fee would cover the loss of a $10 card.

Paypal is not the end of your protection.

I suppose I could mention discount postage, but it would be a conflict of interest.
