How come whem I bought a parcel in BC Canada to be shipped to Alberta Canada I had to pay duty on it this is called fraud is it not
Was it actually shipped from BC or was the seller dropshipping from the USA or overseas?
Sellers are required to give the location of the item, but many mistakenly give their own location.
Contact the seller and ask how he plans to set this right. Be polite and do NOT mention feedback.
He should be paying the duty. Sales tax is your responsibility.
If he does not agree, you can start an Item Not As Described dispute. The "not as " being the location and extra costs. You have up to 45 days to do this. Don't let the deadline pass.
You can also Report the buyer to eBay for giving the wrong location .
