I bid on an item and won 12.00$ + 5.35$ shipping know seller wants 14.00$ for shipping what can be done ? Do i have too pay the new shipping or do they have too sell at price in auction add?
Contact seller and include the link scifan posted. Tell him to check the shipping posted in the listing and send a corrected invoice or cancel the transaction.
I see a $12.95 listing with $5.75 shipping.
You could try pay now and see if you can adjust shipping amount but seller may have changing total blocked.
When you win something, you usually will get an email from ebay indicating you won in addition to an invoice from the seller. The email from ebay should show the shipping as it was in the listing and a pay now button. Pay from that and not the invoice the seller sent which has the higher shipping.
You have several tools.
The first is educating the seller as described above. Some sellers, especially newbies, don't realize their advertised price is set in stone.
Second is asking for a Mutual Cancellation. This ends the transaction amicably, gives the seller his fees back (which can amount to 15-20% of your payment). and allows both of you to leave feedback.
If the seller files an Unpaid Item Dispute instead, you can win it by paying the original advertised amount.
You have up to 60 days to leave appropriate feedback. The most effective feedback is calm and factual.
At the same time you can leave Detailed Seller Ratings. The normal transaction gets 5 stars. The lowest Rating is ONE.
And remember you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
How do you get this enforced i have not encountered this before??
How do i pay advertised price when seller makes the bill?
