I'm in the same boat with you there. I read some old archived posts about the eBay GSC program and the tracking after it gets to the center is questionable. Being that it uses Pitney Bowes (multi-courier services) I assume it can go through a few hands? USPS, CP, possibly other private couriers, etc? Try using the PB tracking system https://parceltracking.pb.com/ (input the UPAAD....number) not that it has given me any more insight into the exact state of my existing eBay shipments from the USA, but at least it's one more point of reference. I assume, for most eBay GSP and PB shipments to Canada, they will end up using CP? Probably. Unfortunately, CP has no info on these shipments prior to leaving the GSC in ERLANGER, KY 41025

Also, let's not forget about the Covid-19 effect on shipping, and the war on the USPS at the moment.

The 7th was Friday.

The Erlanger plant apparently is closed on Sundays.

And of course like every shipping company they are very busy with pandemic buying, have sick workers, workers taking family leave, and a reduced number of trucks and planes carrying shipments.

Today is the 13th.

What dates did eBay give you as the window for delivery?

Mark those on your calendar. It's quite likely on a truck on its way to the Canada Post Gateway Plant in Mississauga.

You will get, or may have, a number from eBay that starts UPAAxxxxx. That can be used on the PB tracker.

BTW, as a rule of thumb, tracking shows where the item has been, not where it is.

But I would add, tracking within the eBay GS/PB center and then scanned as "left" or as "in transit" should be indicated, and it is not. It is in shipping limbo hell is what it really is.

I'm pretty sanguine about mail order delivery time, having been selling mail order, everything from cast iron wood stoves to postage stamps, since the late 70s.

In my experience, it takes about 21 days on average for delivery anywhere in North America (from Canada to USA or from USA to Canada).

It's often faster, but three weeks is not unusual.

The important thing is the last delivery date eBay gave the buyer. That tracking shows the item has arrived in Erlanger and the process is underway is useful. The seller is no longer responsible for the delivery.

Now the important date is ... exactly the same one that eBay gave on purchase.

Yes, important to the seller, I'll agree to that. And I'l say it's in safe responsible control of eBay now. But, from the buyers perspective, and under these present day conditions, it looks to be a **bleep** shoot for when it will arrive. In the past two months, I've had two fraudulent sellers, and one completely lost package from China. So far I'm two for two with refunds, another one still to go, and one seller just finally shipped my item a week later after creating a FedEx label/tracking number. So yeah global shipping is a mess and there are also desperate people resorting to desperate dealings. So I'm a little weary at the moment.
