I paid for a label through paypal but wasn't able to get it printed in time, so I had to pay for it again. Can I expect to get a refund for the first? I did a lot of searching and most answers mentioned voiding the label but I didn't see an option for that on ebay or paypal. I'm hoping this is because something like this will be handled automatically. What's my next step?

If a label is not voided there will be no refund -- how are they to know it's not been used?
Did you buy through the ebay link or directly on paypal?

The transaction says completed just like the new one I just paid for.
So I'm out of luck then? I wasn't aware I only had a certain amount of days to print the label, I just couldn't get to a printer in time, which means I didn't know there was an option to void a label.

If not too much time has not gone by (I forget what the limit is), you can phone paypal support and see if you can get a refund for the unused shipping. Make sure to have the paypal transaction info for the one you didn't use -- you don't want to try canceling the one that was used.
