Is there a time limit for an echeck to clear?

If echeck doesn't clear, will I get a notice from Paypal? How long does the buyer have to fund this check? It is the 12th day since she paid with ec. Thanks.

PS ..buyer has no control over clearing time and PP processing is 7/8 business days + weekend days + holidays.

Payment shows as pending in your PP account. Click on details for the payment

12 days but 4 (weekends) do not count. I would expect clearing today/tomorrow.

Usually if a bank bounces an echeque , PP would have notified and reversed in your account by now.
