For reasons unknown, checkout seems to struggle with credit card company-debit cards on certain listings at certain times. It happens regularly enough that I wouldn't rely on using one for my shopping. Try another funding source? You could call ebay Customer Service but they probably won't be able to help much. I don't recall if the others who came before you achieved eventual success with it.
