Paypal bank account set up to be verified!

I have sold enough on Ebay and everything has cleared.  I put in my bank account info and have requested to make a withdrawal.  I got an email saying that paypal would be depositinig two small amounts into my account in the next few days.  I am supposed to find out what these amounts are and inform them what the two amounts were in order to get verification.   Is this normal?

You should have received a confirm email..

How do I confirm my Canadian bank account? When you register your Canadian bank account, PayPal makes two small deposits to your bank account, each for an amount between .01 CAD and .99 CAD.

These deposits should post to your bank account within 2-3 business days. To find the amounts of the deposits, you can look at your online account statement or contact your bank's customer service department.

When you know the amounts of the deposits, log in to your PayPal account and click the Confirm Bank Account link on your Account Overview page to enter the amounts.

That's the normal procedure PayPal uses to verify an account.
