Why can't I pay for my item using Paypal at this time? I get this error message "Return to merchant and try a different payment method"

I am just wanting to pay for my item and I get this error message. I have used the same account for years and never this problem. A glitch maybe? What to do? I am not using a credit card to pay for items on here without going through paypal. Nope, not doing it!

Hi shrewmaker .. Where to begin, an issue with your account or a PayPal glitch. If i recall was occurring a lot in late 012.

Have you checked your account..credit card expiry date current. If no bank on PP , check view limits on overview page.

Account ok.. try clearing cookies & cache. Could try a different browser.

Asking seller to send an invoice might work.
