regarding a purchase of a car on auction,, seller has refused to allow me time to make travel arrangements to pick up the car and has threatened to cancel the sale and re- list the car so I want my deposit refunded and will agree to cancel

Hi taylorstoys.. Is the seller refusing to return your deposit. Deposits are not covered under PayPal Buyer Protection. You can try to open a claim in PP's resolution center but i would not be to hopeful.

Did you fund the deposit with a credit card. If so , call the 800 # on reverse of card and ask if they can do a chargeback.
