You have three choices with Paypal.

You can maintain a balance, adding to it as needed. Unless you are a seller, this is usually labour intensive. Not difficult, just takes some time.

You can attach the PP account to your bank account. Easier, especially if you keep a fair amount of money in your bank account. Be sure your bank does not charge you for these withdrawals. Technically they are cheques.

And those e-cheques take up to 10 days to clear the Canadian and US banking systems, even if your seller is in Canada.

You can attach the PP account to a credit card. This means your payments will be truly instant. You don't have to worry about balances and you can pay the balance at your leisure.

In addition, if you have a problem, your card has a chargeback service to back up PP's strong Buyer Protection policy.

You can add your bank account or credit card to your PayPal account, which is what you can use to pay for items purchased on eBay. Paying with PayPal is the safest way to go in case a transaction doesn't go as expected.

no,you can back up your account with a cr.card and it would be charged to it.
