"This amount exceeds the payment limits on the account?"

Hello, when I click "make a one time payment using paypal" it usually always works. Including earlier today. No matter what the amount is.

Now when I click "make a one time payment", then click pay it says " Excessive Payment Amount
This amount exceeds the payment limits on the account."

This is for $2.21 payment.

Why is it telling me this.

Hi .. Likely means you have exhausted your sending limit.  Click on "view limits" on your main page.  Will be given the option of verifying which usually means adding a bank account to remove the limit entirely. Can then return to paying with card by choosing more funding options as defaults bank first.

If that is not the issue then call PP @ toll free 1-888-221-1161.
