How does this work because if this is going to be a problem them i cant see using ebay anymore.

Hi .. PayPal is not set up to handle gift cards and many are rejected, particularly if not registered on line. Can open a PP account with a bank account.

Did you receive a confirmation email from PP.

From listing in Purchase History can ask seller if payment was received.
