I've been trying to list two large items (a VCR and 3D printer) but ebay keeps showing FREE SHIPPING within Canada. I've doublechecked all my numbers on the Canada Post site and they are all valid. US shipping calculates correctly. I searched and found various posts over the years for a similar bug but no specific solution. Is there any way to fix this? It's been over a month since it first happened.
Thanks for the suggestions but I found the problem. ebay added a 'seller pays' option to the shipping method and set it as default:
* You pay ( = Free Shipping in the listing)
o Buyer pays - calculated
o Buyer pays - flat rate
I did not notice this new option so it set all my listings to Free Shipping.
Thanks again.
Which Canada Post shipping service are you using?
What dimensions are you using for calculated shipping?
...
Are you using the terrible Simplified Sell Your Item form that eBay defaults occasional and new sellers into?
Don't .
There is a link in the top right corner of the SSyI that will take you to the Advanced/Business form which is clearer and gives you more options.
