How do I find a list of sellers who will sell items for other people in my area

Having trouble figuring out how to find a list of sellers who will sell items for other people, I have a older friend who has a item he would like to sell but I am not interested in doing it and am trying to find some one to do it for him in our local area. I saw this information at one time somewhere on here but can not seem to find it anymore. Thanks for your help

EBay used to have an eBay Trading Assistant program but it died out, probably because most consignors did not want to pay the Assistant enough to make all the work worthwhile.

Most charged between 40% and 50% of the selling price, insisted on having the item in their hands and only released payment after the potential Dispute period is over.

Your friend may be better off using an local  online classified site, consignment shop ,auction house or a local pawnshop depending on how fast he wants to sell.

He may also find an eBayer who will help him out at the community centre, library or seniors' centre.

If it was me, I'd do an ebay search for that item and sort the results by Nearest Distance to me, and then contact the reputable sellers (check feedback) who already sell that sort of thing and send them messages asking if they'd be interested in buying outright what I wanted to sell on consignment.

What is it that your friend is looking to part with? What part of Canada are you from? Maybe there is someone on the board who would entertain that offer of a business arrangement.
