Just curious: If a Buyer and Seller have offered/counter-offered/counter-offered again, until the Seller has finally declined the latest counter-offer, is the prospective Buyer - perhaps realizing she pushed a bit too hard -- able to resubmit an offer equal to the Seller's final offer?
