I don't understand 2 many redirects. I cleaned my disks.  Pages won't open up & I want to buy.  Please can anyone help?

Exact same problem here.  Nothing worked for me.

The only thing I can do is to go somewhere else, on a totally different computer, and then things work fine when accessing eBay.

I do not understand the reason. I do not have that problem with all the other online selling websites work just fine.  So it must be an eBay specific problem.

In wanting to be helpful in my reply, I mentioned all the other online selling websites that work just fine on my regular PC. Chichille77 sent me a private message saying that this was advertising for their competitors, and so removed them!
Now the sentences do not make any sense. They should read:
"I do not have that problem with all the other online selling websites. They work just fine."
