A lot of people are having similar trouble right now. Just have a look at these message
boards. Apparently there was a significant security breach at ebay, and now everyone
has to change passwords, only it is not working well for many of them.
Did you get an email like this one? There is an ongoing discussion about it if you would

In a few days it may be all fixed up. I'd say give it time, - because ebay is not ignoring the
problem but cannot fix it sooner just because people are cross.
You will not likely lose your other ID but it may be a few days before you can access it.
If, after a reasonable length of time, you cannot access that ID, contact the Customer Service
people (top right corner of the page) and explain that you seem to be locked out of that other ID.
For now, though, you are sharing the same fury as a lot of people. That's no consolation but it
does suggest about all you may be able to do is wait.
