How do I get rid of pop-ups alerting me on outbid items? I'm not even bidding on ANYTHING!!!

I keep getting these pop-ups on my iMac popping up in the top right of my monitor alerting me that I've been outbid on MacBooks that I'm not even bidding on. And don't tell me to switch off all my communications and alert options because they're all OFF. And how on earth do you get to talk to a real person at eBay to ask questions? Every option in Help & Contact is a perfect circular loop of clicks and prompts that never get you anywhere.

This is extremely aggravating.

i have never had an i've been outbid notice unless i have actually been out bid.. i think you are stretching the truth a bit there.. if you were watching an item it may tell you the item has sold, but here are similar items for you, but it will not tell you you have been outbid unless you put an offer on something, or actually bid on something, period.. and the phone number for help is easy to find in the contact  us section, click on your issue, click on 2 more items to narrow it down, then boom, there is the phone number..

Is this the Bell?

It's a bit glitchy, and always has been. I don't know if there's anything to do about it. Except ignore it.
