Is there a way to I get rid of these annoying advertisements all over my main page! I know what I want to search for, If I wanted suggestion I'd get a local flyer.

go to top left to ID-click down arrow-account settings-My Account-site preferences-change your participation in eBay Ad-choice program-show(on right)-edit-chick box with check mark.

This will not get rid of ads but will stop tracing ads linked to your searches. Hope this helps
