I've tracked my orders for nearly two(2) month already. The tracking bar shows that the parcel still in transit. Now, nearly three(3) weeks already the bar does not moved. I ask receiver post office (Post Malaysia) and Malaysia Custom Office regarding this parcel and they told me is not in their possession. Since that I cannot ask Canada Post about this, what can I do? Did eBay only managed to sell thing and wash their hand after get paid? An eBay said the procedure to put forward any dispute is within 45 days after clear payment, but how can I put forward any dispute claim when the parcel still in transit? What happen if for another 2 years the item still shows in tracking bar that still in transit? Doesn't it is look like something fishy? You force people to pay,....pay...pay and after you get paid you wash your hand. I've been expected that we all professional. No body should feel that they are being cheat by this biggest? c company!!!

Hello 'admia13',

There is a system in place to protect your purchases.  The only thing is, users need to

know about it in order to use it.  Most new ebay members have no idea how the system works.

Truly, ebay is not taking your money and then 'washing their hands', although

come to think of it, we should all wash our hands after handling money.

Also, it wasn't actually ebay, the company, who sold the item, - it was one of the

many sellers who list their wares independently and simply 'rent space' on ebay the

way local vendors rent space in a city market.

When an item does not show up, you have 45 days to file a 'Not Received' claim.

Have you read this link that will clearly explain everything?

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/item-not-received.html

The way you put forward your dispute is that you go to the Resolution Center (you

will see directions for this if you read the link I just posted).  You open a dispute and

then escalate to a claim as soon as possible.

You should do this no later than 43 days after the listing ends.

Obviously your seller mailed you the item, or it would not show that it is in transit.

It may be delayed somewhere, or, heaven forbid, pinched out of the mail enroute.

This is why many sellers will not sell to certain countries, - they don't trust the postal

systems of those countries.

Your seller also sees that the item is stuck in transit, and is probably just as frustrated

and upset as you are.

Have you contacted your seller?

That is always the first thing to do.  Contact the seller and explain that it has not arrived.

In Canada, a seller may be able to file a claim through Canada Post after having refunded

you.

If it has been more than 45 days since the listing ended, there is nothing that ebay or

paypal will do for you.  Your only option then is if you paid by credit card, you can call

the 1-800 number on the back of the card and ask to do a chargeback.

For most people, however, that is usually a last resort.

Try contacting your seller first.  After all, it is not the seller's fault the item is still in the

postal system (or worse).  The seller obviously mailed it.

Good luck.

File the Item Not Recieved dispute now.

You have only 45 days for this.

Immediately.

The seller must show that you have RECEIVED the parcel, not that he has shipped it.

File NOW!
