That's odd. I'm not a tech guru but I can tell you that whenever I have issues with webpages displaying improperly, I dump my cookies and delete my history. The ebay opening page is very heavy with photos and graphics so maybe it is overloading your available RAM. I'm certain other, more knowledgeable members will have better and more specific advice for you in the near future.
