If you purchased elsewhere you won't be able to do anything about it here.
If you purchase on eBay you do have about an hour to cancel the purchase.
If you purchased here and paid, you can Contact the seller and ask for a refund. If he has not shipped he may be able to do that.
If he has shipped, you will have to wait until it arrives, contact him, return the unwanted item (with tracking), and wait until he has it back before he refunds.
Until you have the item, you don't know what the quality of the item is. For example, if the advice was from a competitor, it may be misleading.
The time to research is BEFORE purchasing. Changing your mind after paying can be expensive in both time and money.
