Why does the web page keep asking if I wish to leave this page when I click the continue button?

There seems to be an issue with the web pages.  It has been going on for at least two days, and only on the IE browser.

Certain parts of eBay for some reason require Compatibility Mode as they haven't yet fully designed it for the new IE.

eBay is always slow with this...

Unfortunately, when you try to use compatibility view on the affected page, the page pops up with the question.
