I have an unpaid invoice that the order was cancelled by the seller but now i can't get rid of it

To cancel the purchase the seller EITHER has to act within a few hours of your purchase, which is very new and I don't know how it plays out, except that the buyer is always annoyed.

OR ask you for a Mutual Cancellation.

If you agree to the MC, both of you are released from the transaction, he gets his fees back, and both of you can leave feedback.

If you ignore the MC, it will close in seven days, both of you are released from the transaction, he gets his fees back, and both of you can leave feedback. 

If you refuse the MC, the transaction remains live, you are still required to pay and he is still required to ship. Although that is not likely to happen. He pays fees on your live purchase. You can both leave feedback.

Or did he open an Unpaid Item Dispute?

That's more serious. If you do not pay, you get a Strike that makes it harder for you to bid on eBay in future. He gets his fees back. And neither of you can leave feedback.

Ebay shopping cart doubled the quantity of every item in my order. The seller tried to fix it but said he couldn't. He said the only way he could fix it was to cancel it all and i would have to do a new order. it did a new order and all went well and both of us are happy. Now i have the original order show up in an unpaid invoice field a weeks later and i can hide it but not get rid of it. Even if i hide it every time i open my ebay it returns. It only started to happen after it looks like ebay has updated their site as it looks a little different now. The seller was paid for the new order and i already have my items, I just want to get rid of the unpaid invoices as they clutter up the page and are annoying especially as i can't remove them.
