Hello Ebay tech people:

Today, I keep getting this error when I am logged onto ebay.ca to see auction listings

and a pop up window happens with a request for log on name and password. 

" http://45.55.124.218 is requesting your username and password. WARNING: Your

password will not be sent to the website you are currently visiting!"

I don't know what logon or password I need to enter and I am already logged onto ebay.ca.

I am using Windows 10 64 bit and Mozilla 54.03.

I updated Mozilla, cleared the browser cache, cleared out the web cookies and fully enabled uBlock Origin. And that pop up log on request box still appears when I look at auction listings.

Mozilla is already updated to version 56. No viruses were found with Malwarebytes and Windows Defender. I use uBlock 1.14.10 by Raymond Hill (Mozilla Add-on). The pop up box with the log on request seems to have stopped on its own. Weird.

It's very likely a 3rd party server issue.  I was getting this:

https://geografixx.com is requesting your username and password. WARNING: Your password will not be sent to the website you are currently visiting!

Checked the page info and the page was pulling in graphics (flag icons for different countries) from geografixx.com.  The icons don't show up because the page can't authenticate.  I'm willing to bet that your's is a similar issue.  I searched for

http://45.55.124.218 and found references to images in ebay listings elsewhere. It isn't malicious so nothing to worry about, just don't ever enter any credentials in a pop up like that.
