eBay app has expired on my iPad 2 and App Store states item is no longer available. Currently running iOS 9.3.5
anyone have ideas on how to fix?
The eBay app has expired, and you cannot update it, as the latest version requires at least iOS 10.
Generation 1-3 iPads can't be updated to iOS 10.
Your only option is to access eBay through the browser on your iPad 2.

I tend to believe it's more Apple than eBay, as it's definitely not in eBay's best interests to restrict potential buyers.
It's unlikely this will create a run on iPad 4s.
