eBay is extremely slow!

I am having difficulty scanning my lists due to slowness.

Pressing the down arrow to scroll, the screen seems to jerk from one item to the next.  It is really aggravating trying to work on listing etc

There is a new 'UP" arrow that has recently appeared which does work to get me back to the top, but does nothing for me trying to find a listing I am watching or selling!.

I don't seem to have any difficulty with my system elsewhere - only on eBay.

Can anyone help?

eBay can be a little more demanding on your computer/browser than other websites due to all of the images and information it's trying to display, so this could be why you aren't noticing it elsewhere. I don't think it's eBay because it's not slow for me.

Doing a little bit of computer maintenance can do wonders for slowness issues. The easiest thing you can do is clear your browser's cache and cookies. If you aren't sure how to do this, try typing into Google "how to clear cache and cookies on Internet Explorer 9" or whatever browser you are using if it's not Internet Explorer.

There is a lot more you can do to speed things up on your system but this is the simplest thing to try that often helps, plus I do this for a living and this is starting to feel too much like work! :^O But I'll leave you with a bit more information...

If this doesn't work here some more things that could be wrong that you can Google how to do - your browser could be running too many (or malicious) toolbars or add-ons or there are too many programs running on your computer at once. There could be a lot of reasons. These tend to be the most common issues.

Hope this helps!
